A rich and engaging history.
Standing erect at the northeast corner of Seventh and Los Angeles Streets, the Stanley Building has a rich and reputable history within the Downtown business communities. Commissioned in 1925 by the Builder’s Exchange Commission, the building was originally filled with offices, hosting a number of booming commercial and industrial organizations of the time, including the Commission itself as well as local mining outfit Union Rock Co., among others.
